Conciertazo de Chissum Castle co. que además sonó genial! se hizo entrega del premio del concurso de relatos cortos, así como un homenaje a Xavier Barrera como nexo de muchos de los que estabamos allí y ……mucho mucho baile. No faltó casi nadie! hasta tuvimo dos integrantes de la Tuna. Felicidades, Laura, Emilio y Javi!

Ha muerto Whitney Houston/ Whitney Houston is dead
El grupo de country Rascal Flatts informaron de su muerte , durante su actuacion el Little Rock Arkansas, esta madrugada; la policia de Beverly Hills encontró sin vida a la cantante en una habitacion del del Hotel Beverly Hilton donde, iba a asistir a una fiesta organizada antes de la entrega de los Premios Grammy de esta noche.
DESCANSE EN PAZ WHITNEY HOUSTON!
The country group Rascal Flatts reported his death, during their performance at the Little Rock Arkansas, this morning; the Beverly Hills police found the singer dead in her room at the Beverly Hilton Hotel where he was to attend a party hosted before the Grammy Awards tonight.

For the fifth year, fans will select the winner of the Academy’s most prestigious honor, Entertainer of the Year, and for the fourth year, the New Artist of the Year category will also be opened up to fan voting until January 30. The winners of Entertainer of the Year and New Artist of the Year will be announced live during the awards.

Despues de casi 20 años, reaparece con la pelicula Joyful Noise que se estrenará en USA el proximo 13 de Enero. Otros pesos pesados en el reparto son Queen Latifah y Kris Kristofferson, éste último como su marido.
Narra la historia de 2 mujeres que intentan salvar al grupo GODSPELL al que pertenecen, asistiendo a un concurso en Los Angeles.
GOSSIPS: DOLLY PARTON RETURNS TO THE BIG SCREEN!
After nearly 20 years, returns in Joyful Noise it’s premiere in USA the next january 13.
Dolly co-stars with Queen Latifah in Joyful Noise, which tells the story of a gospel choir trying to make it to a singing competition in Los Angeles. Kris Kristofferson plays Dolly’s husband in the film.

Primero advertiros que esta semana, la lista de exitos semanal no ha sido actualizada, con lo que sigue la misma! La semana proxima seguro que habrá mucho movimiento pero.. de momento ZBB por tercera semanita yihaaaa!.
En mi afán de buscar nuevos artistas, he descubierto, a través de RN3, a Laura Veirs, quien acaba de editar un disco con canciones FOLK/COUNTRY que, aunque es para niños, a mi me han encantado.
El album se titula «Tumble Bee», editado en Colorado, y producido por su marido Tucker Martin, que, tambien le ayuda con varios instrumentos, y de dedicado a su bebé Tenesse de 18 meses. Son canciones tradicionales Folk y Country.
Os invito a que la escucheis y por eso he colocado en mi IPod particular varias canciones del ultimo albúm, así como alguna otra mas de su discografía.
