Conciertazo de Chissum Castle co. que además sonó genial! se hizo entrega del premio del concurso de relatos cortos, así como un homenaje a Xavier Barrera como nexo de muchos de los que estabamos allí y ……mucho mucho baile. No faltó casi nadie! hasta tuvimo dos integrantes de la Tuna. Felicidades, Laura, Emilio y Javi!

Country Music’s Party of the Year, the 47th ANNUAL ACADEMY OF COUNTRY MUSIC AWARDS, will be broadcast LIVE from Las Vegas . The show will be hosted for the second consecutive year by Reba and Blake.
For the fifth year, fans will select the winner of the Academy’s most prestigious honor, Entertainer of the Year, and for the fourth year, the New Artist of the Year category will also be opened up to fan voting until January 30. The winners of Entertainer of the Year and New Artist of the Year will be announced live during the awards.

FELIZ NAVIDAD!!!!! HAPPY CHRISTMAS!!
HOLA!
Después de un año que comencé, con la ayuda de Pigmalion Javi, en esto de los blogs, quiero dar las gracias por las visitas que tengo diariamente y que jamás imaginé recibir!
Me gustaría creer que a muchos de vosotros os mueve la misma afición por la musica y el baile country; hasta incluso haber hecho algun que otro adepto lo cual sería GENIAL!
Además, me ha obligado a investigar más profundamente sobre el country, folk, bluegrass, y encontrar a grupos de los que, de otra manera no hubiera conocido.
Con ayuda de mis amigos, estamos creando un nuevo LOGO que espero os guste. Aquí os envio un primer boceto ya que seguimos en ello!.
El año pasado, hice un disco de Country Christmas Corner y se lo regalé a mis amigos. Este año con la crisis y sobre todo, con la falta de tiempo, los podeis escuchar en este precioso IPOD que he incorporado al blog ( Gracias Javi!), y que para ser sincera…. no hubiera podido hacer sin su ayuda. Espero que os guste.
Un recuerdo muy especial para Adela ,Carlos y Serguei, donde quiera que esteis que seguro sera un buen lugar…os queremos, nos acordamos de vosotros todos los dias y os echamos mucho de menos!

HAPPY THANKS GIVING 2011!
Y…… como aquí no lo celebramos, aprovecho para ser la primera en avisaros que….. YA LLEGA LA NAVIDAD!!!! aunque un poco mermada por esta pedazo de «crisis» bueno vamos a hablar claro «recesión» os envio este video que he encontrado en youtube, son The Band Perry «25 Days Of Christmas» y que espero sirva de preámbulo.

Conciertazo de Country Junquies en Madrid 11-11-11!!
Como tocan! y como canta Margo!
Durante 2 horas disfrutamos de sus canciones que, dado que actuaban dentro del programa de la XXVIII Festival de Jazz de Madrid, algunas de ellas las convirtieron en verdaderas piezas de jazz!
Ha sido la primera vez que he asistido a un concierto en el Teatro Fernán Gómez y creo que sólo volveré a ver obras de teatro porque, en mi opinion, no es el lugar idóneo; estar sentada, sin poder tomar alguna copa o refresco y donde hay que estar calladito y sin moverte! Esto me recuerda cuando fuí a un concierto «unplugged» que dió Bruce Springting en el antiguo Palacio de Congresos de Madrid y del que salí totalmente desencantada.
Espero que sus próximos conciertos, que seguro que habrá muchos mas, los programen en lugares como Clamores, Galileo Galilei o de similares caracteristicas
